I joined
Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship on December 31, 2010 and for the first few years was pretty much a wallflower. I signed up for a few email lists and joined a few Facebook pages and groups. Every once in a while, I'd even join in on the weekly ADF chat. While I was a member of ADF, I wasn't very involved. Near the end of 2013, I had a dream where the Kindreds came to me and pretty much told me to get off my ass and do something. After a series of false starts, I finally committed myself to completing the ADF Dedicant Path and sought out a mentor to keep me on track. I received a wonderful mentor in the form of
Lisa Wasilkowsky Malik and inspiration in the form of the Kindreds throughout the process. On Lughnasadh of 2014, I finally made my Dedicant Oath and on August 25, 2014 I was awarded my certificate of completion. While this was a big accomplishment and one that I am very proud of, I realize now that the Dedicant Path is merely the gateway to a whole other world within Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship. With the completion of the Dedicant Path, I step through the gate and on to the next adventure...
